"Oranginal"

I know I said that I did not like BLEETHEUX original make-up: too orange, too tacky, too spooky, in fact I later cleaned her with solvent (and I made a mess :( ...poor girl!)

but in this picture she reminds me of the Orangina drink.

As I mentioned in the very first post, BLEETHEAUX was my first Blythe doll: back in the Fall of 2002 she was very much "the girl about town", so I've decided that this week she's going to be the star in all posts.

In this photo she's enjoying a junk boat trip, the best way to spend a Sunday in Hong Kong.

Today no photos of my girls, but a question: should I get this sewing pattern?

It looks cute, but I'm not sure my girls will like any of these styles (plus, I'm not sure I will ever have the time to actually sew the tiny clothes...)

Copper Cookware is the best

Like all the best chefs CECILE knows that copper is the most desirable material for cooking.

Here she's heading to the Cordon Bleu Culinary Institute with the new utensils we found at "Miniatures World", a cute little shops full of the most delightful dollhouse miniatures.

CECILE went to lively Rue Montorgueil and bought some yummy french specialities!

Vintage shopping

CECILE found pretty vintage ribbons, and hat-making accessories at "Mercerie Utramod", which has been in business since 1890... WOW!

This place is just amazing: buttons galore, embroidery materials, lace, pins and even old rolls of fabrics. "Ultramode" has two shops, at no. 3 and no. 4 Rue de Choiseul, 75002 Paris - tel. +33.1.42.60.45.57, closed Saturday and Sunday (unfortunately they don't have website)
